Field Trips
Dave's Pumpkin Patch offers school and group field trips to the pumpkin patch. Here at Dave's Pumpkin Patch we believe in the importance of education as well as fun. That is why we have designed a fall field trip to accomplish both goals.
If you are interested in reserving a spot for your class or group, please read the information below carefully and fill out and submit the form. If you have not heard from someone within one weeks time of submitting your reservation, please feel free to give us a call to confirm.
**Add a trip through the corn maze to your field trip. Total Cost $6.50 per person.**
Cost:
The cost is $5.50 for each student and sibling (2 years and older) who will be attending the trip. Parents who attend the field trip are FREE unless they would like to buy something while at Dave's Pumpkin Patch. The teacher and their aid are FREE. Minimum group size is 5. If your group arrives with less than 5 people for your time slot, you will still be expected to pay for 5 people.
Your cost includes:
Old Fashioned Hay Ride to the pumpkin field where you can pick your own pumpkin off the vine
A trip through the Kiddie Corn Maze
A run through the Hay Maze
A self-guided tour through the Pumpkin Patch
Unlimited Bounce House
Educational activity book for each child with a free coupon to come back to the corn maze.
Any pumpkin your child can carry and a choice between one gourd, Indian corn or mini pumpkin
In addition, as a class you will receive one pumpkin for your classroom.

PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Due to the high volume of field trips and group outings, we have to keep a tight schedule. We ask that you arrive 15-20minutes prior to your scheduled time so you can unload your children, check in and pay.
Teachers, please have all money collected and in an envelope with the amount written on that envelope, prior to arriving at Dave's Pumpkin Patch. It creates less chaos for all of us and a more efficient and fun time for the children. We accept Cash, Checks and Visa or MasterCard.
The total time for the self-guided tour and picking out your pumpkin should be around 30-45 minutes, so please plan accordingly. If you are late arriving it may interfere with our other schools field trips, so we ask that at the very minimum you give us a call to let us know when you will be arriving as your trip may need to be rescheduled.
While at Dave's Pumpkin Patch we suggest that you and your child wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Please remember this is a farm with lots of dirt!
There is a picnic area and restroom's available. Please feel free to plan a lunch or snack at the pumpkin patch.
Often, parents who come to the field trip ask us where our ponies are or our bounce house. We would like to take this opportunity to make it clear that during the WEEKDAYS, there are not the same amenities as on the WEEKENDS, such as our pony rides. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Reservations:
Dave's Pumpkin Patch fills up fast, so please make your reservation early, and when we say early we mean August, September! You can make your reservation by either calling our Events Coordinator OR E-mailing her at the email address listed below. All reservations require a 50% deposit, made payable by the 1st of October, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled. All checks should be made payable to Vierra Farms and sent to the address below.

Cancellations:
If you must cancel your field trip within two weeks of your scheduled reservation your school will be charged as though you came to the pumpkin patch. The reasoning for this is that it is unfair to other schools who could have had their field trip on that day or at that time. This also includes "No Shows."
Cancellations need to be made by the phone or in person only. E-mails will not count as a valid cancellation. In case of rain, Dave will make the decision in the morning as to whether or not field trips will be cancelled. You will receive a phone call in the event that your field trip does need to be cancelled.
**Please remember, as the parent or teacher, YOU are responsible for your child and their
actions or behavior.**

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Dave's Pumpkin Patch is a great place to have your child's birthday party! We have put together various birthday party packages to meet your needs as well as your child's.
Please note that no matter what package you choose, the following are guidelines that we are unable to change or modify for your group. We apologize in advance, however, due to the high volume of parties and activities that happen at the pumpkin patch on weekends, we have to be able to accomodate all of our patrons! We hope you understand.
* Each party package cannot be modified.
* A minimum of 5 paid guests to reserve a time spot for birthday parties.
* Each birthday party package get 2 hours of reserved time at 2 picnic table for every 25 guests. If you have more than 25 guests, we will accomodate your group with extra picnic tables.
* You are more than welcome to bring your own food to the pumpkin patch, as long as you don't ask us to cook it or store it. Health and Safety codes do not permit us to do that.
* Lastly, NO alcoholic beverages are allowed on the pumpkin patch property. You are however, able to bring your own coolers with drinks for your guests.
GOBLIN PACKAGE
This package includes UNLIMITED: Bounce House jumping, Hay Maze frolicking, Hay Pyramid fun, a Hay Ride around the patch, and one ticket per child for one Pony Ride with Pony Pals. Each paying child in the party also gets to take a little piece of pumpkin heaven home with them when they get to pick their very own Wee Be Little pumpkin!
Price per child: $14.00
*Children 2 and under are free excluding pony rides which may be purchased at Pony Pals vendor.
*One Adult per 8 children is included in the price as they will be needed as a chaperone. All other adults that would like to participate in the birthday festivities, such as the hay ride, will need to purchase their tickets at our Cashier stand.
WITCH PACKAGE
This package includes UNLIMITED: Bounce House jumping, Hay Maze frolicking, Hay Pyramid fun, a Hay Ride around the patch, and one ticket per child for one Pony Ride with Pony Pals. Each paying child in the party also gets to take a little piece of pumpkin heaven home with them when they get to pick their very own Wee Be Little pumpkin!
In addition, each paying child will receive:
Choice of either 1 Hot Dog or 1 Hamburger, 1 Bag of Chips and 1 Soda, Water or Gatorade (Pumpkin Sippers are excluded from this and must be purchased separately)
Price per child: $18.00
